Join the “Don't Believe It” Competition to Raise Awareness on the Dangers of Sharing Unverified News on Social Media

Benha University announced a new awareness competition organized by the Supreme Council of Universities, entitled “Don't Believe It”, aimed at encouraging students to create purposeful digital content that supports national and social causes, while raising awareness about the risks of rumors and misinformation spreading online.
The competition is held under the slogan: “Not everything you see… you should believe,” highlighting the importance of verifying news before sharing or trusting it.
Participation Details:
Deadline for submissions: May 30
Submission location: Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs
Eligible works: Digital content, awareness videos, or online campaigns designed to counter rumors
Through this initiative, Benha University reaffirms the vital role of youth in shaping public awareness and combating media misinformation, while promoting a culture of critical thinking and digital responsibility among university students.
