Benha University Honors Students Excelling in Sports

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, honored students who achieved top positions in various local and national sports competitions. The ceremony was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, prof. Tamer Arafa, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Dr. Samar Abdel Hamid, Director of the Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafi'i Center for Disability Services, and Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah, General Director of Youth Welfare.
The recognition included:
Students who won first place nationwide in sports championships.
Winners of the Goodwill Ambassadors competitions hosted at Fayoum University.
The Faculty of Sport Sciences football team, which secured first place in the President's Cup.
In his remarks, prof. El-Gizawy emphasized the importance of sports in shaping well-balanced personalities, discovering and nurturing talents, and channeling students' energy into productive pursuits. He highlighted the university's commitment to supporting distinguished and talented students across all fields, while ensuring a safe and inclusive educational environment.
At the conclusion of the event, the university president and his colleagues presented four scooters to students with special needs, in collaboration with the Mustafa Sadiq Al-Rafi'i Center, as part of the university's ongoing efforts to provide care and support for all students.
