Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed a delegation from the Evangelical Church in Benha, led by Pastor Rafik Dweeb, Pastor of the Evangelical Church in Benha, along with accompanying members, who came to extend congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The meeting was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary-General of the University; Mr. Refaat Nan, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs; and Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development.
During the meeting, prof. El-Gizawy expressed his delight at the visit, affirming his appreciation for the Evangelical Church delegation's gesture. He emphasized that exchanging greetings and visits during religious and national occasions between the two pillars of the Egyptian nation reflects unity, cohesion, and the prevalence of affection, compassion, and peace among the people of one homeland. He noted that Egypt stands as a unique model of societal solidarity, praying that God Almighty bless Egypt and its great people with prosperity and well-being.
Pastor Rafik Dweeb highlighted the depth of mutual feelings between Muslims and Christians, which embody the spirit of love and fraternity across all segments of the nation. He commended Benha University's enlightening and societal role, as well as its joint initiatives that strengthen belonging and reinforce bonds among the people of Egypt.
