Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed His Eminence Bishop Marcos, Metropolitan of Shubra El-Kheima and its districts; His Eminence Bishop Maximus, Metropolitan of Benha and Quesna; and His Eminence Bishop Noufer, Bishop of Shibin El-Qanater, along with their accompanying delegations, who came to extend congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The meeting was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra; Dr. Walid Talaat, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy; Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary-General of the University; Mr. Refaat Nan, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs; and Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. El-Gizawy expressed his joy at this annual tradition, which renews bonds of brotherhood with each celebration. He emphasized that exchanging greetings and visits during national and religious occasions reflects the ties of affection, compassion, peace, and patriotism that form a strong shield for the people of Egypt. He praised the unity and cohesion that bind the fabric of the nation, praying that God Almighty may bless Egypt and its great people with prosperity, peace, and abundance.
The church delegations conveyed heartfelt congratulations on Eid al-Adha, affirming the spirit of love and fraternity that unites the Egyptian people, strengthens their sense of belonging, and deepens bonds of brotherhood across all segments of society.
