President of Benha University: Implementation of the Outpatient Clinics and Specialized Medical Centers Project in Kafr Saad has been begun

Professor Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the commencement of the construction project for the outpatient clinics and specialized medical centers in Kafr Saad. This initiative aims to enhance the health and treatment services provided by the university to citizens.
The university president explained that the project represents a qualitative leap in the healthcare system at Benha University, covering a total area of approximately 2800 square meters, with the building area being around 2450 square meters. He noted that the preparatory work, including surveying and removing obstacles to construction, has been completed, and work on the deep foundations and pilings for the building has begun according to the approved construction plans.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that the building will consist of:
• Six floors,
• A ground floor and a first floor dedicated to outpatient clinics and various medical services,
• A comprehensive radiology center
• A medical laboratory.
• The upper four floors will house specialized medical centers to meet patient needs and support future expansion of health services.
The project will feature:
• 60 diverse medical clinics,
• 45 clinics for consultations across various medical specialties,
• Four surgical clinics,
• 15 dental clinics equipped with specialized panoramic X-ray units.
He explained that the design of the clinics adheres to the latest engineering and medical standards, ensuring complete patient privacy through visual and acoustic separation between waiting areas and examination and administrative service areas.
The university president confirmed that the building will also include two digital clinics to provide telemedicine services, which will be connected in the future to the electronic clinic system, aligning with the state's direction towards digital transformation and the development of smart health services. Additionally, the radiology center will house some of the latest medical devices, including an MRI machine, a CT scanner, two digital X-ray machines, and two ultrasound machines, along with a fully equipped medical laboratory and waiting areas for patients and their companions.
Professor Nasser El-Gizawy further explained that the project will also encompass all supporting medical and administrative services, rooms for medical staff, a cafeteria for visitors, and an outdoor waiting area equipped for children, ensuring a comprehensive and comfortable therapeutic environment for patients.
He emphasized that the building will be equipped according to the latest codes and modern standards, featuring a complete central air conditioning system, natural lighting and ventilation, and will be prepared to accommodate five elevators serving various floors and future expansions. See less
