• Professor Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University,
• Prof. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts,
They welcomed a committee from the Arts Sector of the Supreme Council of Universities. The purpose of the visit was to assess the college's readiness to implement the new postgraduate studies regulations under the credit hour system, set to commence in the academic year 2026/2027.
The committee included:
• Prof. Gamal El-Shazly, former Vice President of Cairo University;
• Prof. Maher El-Sharbin, Professor of Japanese Language at Cairo University;
• Prof. Rehab Sobhi, Head of the Chinese Language Department at Cairo University,
• Prof. Mohamed Mesbah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Amjad Hegazy stated that the committee conducted a tour of various sectors of the college to review the academic, administrative, and infrastructural capabilities and the facilities supporting the educational and research processes.
The dean emphasized that this visit aligns with the college's efforts to expand and develop its graduate programs according to the latest global academic systems, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research and supporting the college's status and academic leadership.
The committee reviewed the development and modernization efforts within the college's facilities and educational services, as well as its ongoing initiatives to elevate the postgraduate studies system in accordance with quality requirements and modern academic standards.
The committee praised the distinguished level achieved by the college and its material and human resources, which qualify it to implement the credit hour system efficiently.
