Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence successfully designed and developed an outstanding graduation project titled "MuseWay." This smart application aims to enhance the experience of visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum by employing artificial intelligence technologies and interactive digital services.
The project targets providing a comprehensive museum experience that combines education and entertainment. It allows visitors to easily learn about artifacts by scanning their specific codes using their mobile phone cameras, enabling users to access detailed historical and cultural information, supported by images and audio explanations in multiple languages, catering to the needs of visitors from various nationalities.
The application also includes an interactive map of the museum and an intelligent internal navigation system that helps visitors reach different halls and exhibits easily and efficiently. Additionally, it provides a smart assistant (Chatbot) based on artificial intelligence technologies to answer visitors' inquiries related to ancient Egyptian civilization and the artifacts displayed within the museum.
The application offers personalized smart tours based on user interests and available time, along with the ability to save favorite artifacts and send ratings and suggestions, as well as a range of interactive educational games that contribute to enhancing historical and cultural knowledge in an innovative way.
