President of Benha University Monitored Progress at the New University Hospital

Prof. El-Gizawy: The hospital is a comprehensive medical facility that supports the health and educational system.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inspected the ongoing construction work at the new university hospital, accompanied by Prof. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra and the university's engineering advisor, along with officials from Wadi El-Nile Construction Company and the university's engineering management, to monitor the progress of the project.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that the new university hospital represents a qualitative addition to the Benha University system, as it provides advanced capabilities that contribute to enhancing the practical training of medical students, in addition to its role in supporting and developing health services provided to citizens in Qalyubia Governorate and neighboring governorates.
The university president noted that the hospital is being built on an area of 9,042 square meters, consisting of two basements and seven repeated floors. It includes a comprehensive system of medical departments, including emergency, outpatient clinics, laboratories, radiology, operating rooms, as well as a large number of specialized intensive care units, including those for cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and neonatology.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that the project also includes departments for obstetrics and gynecology, laparoscopic surgery, burn surgery, physical therapy, and chemotherapy, in addition to 16 advanced patient accommodation units, achieving the highest levels of healthcare.
He explained that the new hospital is not just a medical facility but a comprehensive edifice that embodies the vision of the Egyptian state in developing the health sector and building the new republic by providing advanced treatment services according to the latest global standards. He pointed out that the project will help alleviate pressure on current hospitals and provide an exceptional therapeutic and educational environment.
