President of Benha University:  Approval of 12 Dual Academic Programs with Canterbury Christ Church University

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the council's approval of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Benha University and Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK. This agreement includes the accreditation of 12 academic programs in the faculties of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and Commerce as dual study programs between the two universities, allowing students to obtain joint academic qualifications from both institutions.
The accredited programs include:
• Bachelor of Information Security and Digital Forensics
• Bachelor of Medical Informatics
• Bachelor of Networks and Mobile Technologies
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
• Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence
• Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration
• Bachelor of Computer Science
• Bachelor of Commerce in Economics
• Bachelor of Information Systems
• Bachelor of Scientific Computing
• Bachelor of Commerce in Statistics
• Bachelor of Business Information Systems
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that this step is part of Benha University's strategy to expand international academic partnerships and enhance its position at both regional and global levels. He noted that the university places great importance on developing its academic programs according to international standards and expanding cooperation with prestigious universities and scientific institutions around the world. This approach positively impacts the quality of educational, research, and service processes, enhancing the university's academic reputation.
Canterbury Christ Church University was established in 1962 and is classified as a well-known public university in Canterbury, UK. Dr. Stephen Lameyman, Director of International Cooperation and Agreements at Canterbury Christ Church University, had previously presented at the conference titled "Professional Empowerment and Career Advancement in Preparation for the Future of Work," organized by the university's Career Development Center in Al-Obour City last February. His speech, titled "The Impact of Transnational Education Programs on Increasing Employment Opportunities," addressed the role of transnational education programs in enhancing graduates' readiness for the international job market, building global skills, and linking academic education with employment and professional development needs in a rapidly changing world.
