Prof. El-Gizawy opened the session by extending heartfelt congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the 13th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, affirming the great national significance of this occasion as a true embodiment of the will of the Egyptian people and their determination to preserve their identity and lead the nation toward a better future.
The University President expressed his appreciation for the tremendous efforts made by academic and administrative leaders, faculty members, and staff during the second semester examinations, praising the discipline and commitment observed in the exam halls, which provided students with a suitable environment to sit for their exams smoothly and effectively.

He also announced the council's approval of allocating EGP 2.8 million in rewards for international publications and citations for the January 2026 cycle, continuing the university's policy of encouraging researchers to publish in prestigious international journals. This contributes to strengthening the university's global ranking and increasing its research output.

He noted that in recent years, the university has witnessed a remarkable surge in international publications and the quality of scientific research, which has positively impacted its standing in global rankings.
