Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, held a meeting with the university's Volunteer Ambassadors at the University Career Development Center. The meeting was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman, Director of the Career Development Center.
During the meeting, the President showcased key initiatives and activities already implemented, while discussing proposals to expand the scope of volunteer work and increase student participation in community-based projects. He emphasized that these efforts align with Benha University's vision of preparing graduates who are competitive and actively engaged in serving society.
Prof. El-Gizawy stressed that the university places great importance on empowering students and equipping them to become effective contributors to their communities. He noted that volunteerism is a cornerstone of university life, helping to build character, develop leadership and professional skills, and strengthen values of belonging and social responsibility.
Prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi highlighted the vital role played by Volunteer Ambassadors in supporting both university and community activities. She praised the students for their positive engagement in initiatives organized by the university, which fosters a culture of volunteerism and teamwork.
Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman added that the Career Development Center is committed to providing a supportive environment for students to enhance their capabilities. Through training programs and volunteer activities, the center helps students refine their personal and professional skills, preparing them to become ambassadors of positive change within and beyond the university.
