Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals Follows Up on Victims of Chlorine Leak at Ramla Water Unit

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, directed that immediate and comprehensive medical care be provided to those injured in the chlorine gas leak at the Ramla Water Unit. He also ordered that university hospitals raise their state of readiness and respond promptly to all cases.
Dr. Amr El-Dakhakhny, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, accompanied by Dr. Amr Gamal, Director of Emergency and Reception, visited the patients to check on their health condition, oversee the delivery of medical services, and ensure that all necessary care was being provided.
Dr. El-Dakhakhny confirmed that all medical teams across specialties are on full alert, continuing to monitor the patients until their conditions stabilize and they are discharged after recovery, in line with the President's directives to provide the highest level of medical care.
Benha University Hospitals had received 12 patients suffering from suffocation after a chlorine cylinder—used in purifying drinking water—leaked during transport inside the Ramla Water Unit. The cases were immediately handled upon arrival by specialized medical teams, who provided first aid and the required treatment.
