Launching the New Cycle of International Publication Rewards – July 2026

Prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announced that Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, has approved opening applications for the July 2026 cycle to obtain incentives for international publication, total citation counts, as well as book and book chapter publications. Applications are open starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for one month from the date of announcement.
Prof. Gehan pointed out that accepted research in this cycle includes those published within the last two years from the announcement date and not previously submitted in earlier cycles. Citation counts will be calculated based on the last five years, according to faculty members' accounts on Google Scholar. Any applicant whose account contains unrelated research, or who submits work already rewarded in past cycles, will be blacklisted and barred from receiving incentives under the university's research support programs.
It is noteworthy that Benha University launches two cycles of international scientific publication rewards annually, in January and July. These research support programs play a major role in developing the capabilities of faculty and young researchers, while also positively influencing the university's global ranking.
