Benha University Theatre Troupe Wins Jury Award at International University Theatre Festival in Morocco

Prof. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university's theatre troupe had won the Jury Award at the 38th International University Theatre Festival, hosted in Casablanca, Morocco. The troupe represented Egypt with their performance of “Owners of the Land.”
Prof. El‑Gizawy congratulated the team, affirming that this achievement reflects the of Benha University students and their ability to compete on international stages. He noted that the award embodies the university's commitment to supporting cultural and artistic activities, nurturing student talent, encouraging creativity and innovation, and presenting Egypt honorably in global forums.
The play “Owners of the Land” received wide acclaim from both the jury and the audience for its outstanding artistic treatment of themes of land, identity, and belonging. The festival featured university theatre troupes from several countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Italy, Spain, and Armenia.
