President of Benha University inaugurated "Academic Program Evaluation" Course in Preparation for Institutional and Program Accreditation

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the training program "Evaluating Academic Programs: Between Concept and Application for Sustainable Development," organized by the university's Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center in collaboration with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. This initiative is part of the university's preparations to qualify colleges and programs for institutional and program accreditation.
The ceremony was attended by :
• Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Mohamed Ghonem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University places great importance on quality and accreditation by providing necessary resources, building qualified human capacities, and developing infrastructure in line with quality standards and labor market needs. He noted that the university adopts a comprehensive strategy to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and staff through continuous training programs, supporting the application of quality systems, improving the educational process, and increasing graduates' efficiency.
The university president explained that utilizing qualified personnel in internal and external reviews and simulations contributes to enhancing the readiness of colleges and programs for accreditation, positively impacting the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.
Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hady pointed out that the program aims to develop faculty members' skills in evaluating academic programs, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement, which contributes to preparing sustainable development plans that keep pace with local, regional, and international changes.
