President of Benha University:  Preparing Students for Future Jobs through Training and Industrial Partnerships

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized that youth are the productive force and the main driver of development. He pointed out that the real investment lies in building individuals by providing training, developing capacities, and creating an environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, preparing students to compete in the job market and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
This came during his participation in the Integrated Day for Technical Industrial Training, organized by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) at the Creative Center in Benha, in collaboration with the Chamber of Information Technology Industry (CIT), and with the participation of several major companies operating in the information technology sector.
The event was attended by:
• Prof. Ayman Samir, Advisor to the University President for Innovation,
• Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Education and Student Affairs,
• Prof. Salah Mohsen, Director of the Digital Egypt Innovation Center,
• Engineer Mohamed El-Amir, Director of ITIDA – Creative Benha.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy indicated that Benha University places great importance on developing the technical and practical skills of its students, in line with the national strategy for higher education and scientific research. He affirmed that partnerships with industrial institutions and technology companies represent a fundamental pillar for enhancing the educational process and improving students' readiness to enter the job market.
The event included a presentation by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) on the training programs and services it offers to students and the mechanisms for monitoring trainees. Representatives from the participating companies also showcased training and employment opportunities, highlighting the key skills and experiences sought by employers, which contribute to preparing and qualifying students for the job market.
