Benha University Journals have achieved Significant Progress According to the Supreme Council of Universities Evaluation - July 2026

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced notable advancements in the rankings of the scientific journals published by the university, based on the Supreme Council of Universities' evaluation for July 2026. Key points include:
1. Overall Assessment:
• A total of 20 scientific journals issued by the university and its faculties were evaluated.
• A new journal was included in this evaluation.
2. Achievements:
• Benha Journal of Engineering and Technology was included in the Supreme Council of Universities classification for the first time, achieving a score of 6.5.
• Benha Journal of Basic and Environmental Sciences also maintained its score of 6.5.
3. Top Scoring Journals:
• Benha Journal of Humanities and the Journal of Accounting Studies and Research both attained the highest score of 7.
• Other journals that achieved high scores include:
• Faculty of Nursing Journal
• Faculty of Arts Journal
• Faculty of Education Journal
• Legal and Economic Thought Journal
• Veterinary Sciences Journal
• Physical Education and Sports Sciences Journal
• Educational and Qualitative Studies and Research Journal
• Commercial Studies and Research Journal
• Engineering Research Journal
• Benha International Journal of Physical Therapy
• This brings the total number of journals receiving the highest score to 13.

• Benha Medical Journal has maintained its presence among global journals in the Scopus database.
• Three other scientific journals achieved high scores close to the maximum:
• Journal of Agricultural Sciences in Moshtohor: Score of 6.5.
• Benha University Journal of Applied Sciences: Score of 6.
• Journal of Forensic Medical Sciences and Clinical Toxicology: Score of 6.
• Journal of Physical Education and Sports Research: Retained its classification.
