President of Benha University Welcomed the President of Canterbury Christ Church University and Discusses Enhancing Academic Cooperation and Approving 12 Dual Programs

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed Prof. Claire Ozanne, President of Canterbury Christ Church University, along with her accompanying delegation, which included:
• Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Megid, Vice President for Education, Student Growth, and International Cooperation at Canterbury,
• Stephen Lameyman, Director of International Partnerships at Canterbury,

This visit aimed to support international academic relations and enhance joint cooperation between the two universities in the fields of :

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy welcomed the British delegation, emphasizing Benha University's commitment to expanding its international partnerships with globally distinguished universities. This expansion aims to develop academic and research programs and enhance the competencies of graduates in line with the requirements of the local, regional, and international job markets.
The meeting included discussions on several collaboration files, including enhancing student and academic exchange programs, providing opportunities for research collaboration, and developing joint academic programs between the two sides.
the President of Benha University mentioned that the university council approved Canterbury University to recognize 12 academic programs from the faculties of Commerce and Computers and Artificial Intelligence as dual programs between Benha University and Canterbury University. This step reflects the quality of the university's academic programs and the depth of the strategic partnership between the two institutions, offering students exceptional educational opportunities according to the latest international standards, contributing to graduating qualified cadres capable of competing in global job markets.
Prof. Claire Ozanne expressed her happiness with the visit to Benha University, praising the remarkable development the university has achieved in various academic and research fields. She emphasized her desire to enhance joint cooperation and expand the scope of dual programs to serve the goals of both universities and achieve mutual benefits for students and faculty members.
