Benha University President and NTI Director Inspect Cybersecurity Academy Activities at Egypt Digital Innovation Center

Prof. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), during his visit to the Creativa Egypt Digital Innovation Center at Benha University. The visit was attended by prof. Gehan Abdel‑Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The President and NTI Director, accompanied by the Vice President, toured the activities of the third edition of the Cybersecurity SuperHero Academy for youth, organized by NTI under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in cooperation with the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA).
They reviewed the training programs and practical activities offered to participants, and listened to explanations on the training modules and implementation mechanisms, which aim to spread cybersecurity awareness, promote digital literacy, and build the capacities of youth in cybersecurity and modern technologies.
Dr. El‑Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to expanding cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and NTI, in line with the state's digital transformation strategy and its vision for human development. He highlighted the university's focus on preparing qualified cadres with technological skills to compete in the labor market, while fostering an educational and training environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
Dr. Khattab praised the effective partnership with Benha University, noting that the collaboration reflects the integration of efforts in implementing national initiatives to prepare a generation with advanced digital skills and heightened cybersecurity awareness, supporting the state's vision of a modern digital society.
Prof. Abdel‑Hadi added that the university is working to provide more specialized training opportunities for its students and researchers, keeping pace with rapid developments in communications and IT, and strengthening readiness for future demands. She pointed out that cybersecurity has become one of the most important and globally prioritized fields.
It is worth noting that the visit came as part of following up on the academy's activities, organized by NTI to promote cybersecurity culture, build digital capacities, and train youth across 17 governorates nationwide, in addition to specialized training programs offered to Benha University students and the wider Qalyubia community.
