Benha University President Inspects Engineering Students' Graduation Projects

Prof. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University, affirmed the university's commitment to providing an educational environment that fosters creativity and innovation, preparing engineering graduates capable of applying academic knowledge to deliver practical solutions that serve society and meet labor market demands.
This came during his inspection of graduation projects at the Faculty of Engineering in Benha, accompanied by Dr. Zeinab Faisal, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Fahmy Salah Abdel‑Halim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Engineer Tamer Ramadan, Head of the Engineers Syndicate in Qalyubia; Dr. Walaa Ibrahim Gaber, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department; and Dr. Ali Attia, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
During the tour, prof. El‑Gizawy reviewed several projects addressing modern engineering fields, including sustainable energy applications, intelligent industrial control systems, air conditioning and refrigeration, mechatronics, advanced manufacturing, and bioenergy, alongside a number of innovative projects across diverse engineering disciplines. Students presented their project concepts, implementation mechanisms, and key outcomes.
Parof. El‑Gizawy praised the high academic level reflected in the projects and the innovative ideas demonstrating students' ability to employ advanced technologies in tackling engineering challenges. He commended faculty members for their academic supervision and dedication to developing students' research and practical skills, thereby enhancing the quality of educational outcomes.
He emphasized that graduation projects represent the culmination of students' academic efforts throughout their years of study, underscoring the importance of supporting outstanding projects and encouraging their development into applicable models that can serve industry and contribute to comprehensive development plans.
Dr. Zeinab Faisal noted that the Faculty of Engineering is keen to provide academic and technical support to students, guiding them to implement graduation projects that combine innovation with practical application and align with rapid developments across engineering disciplines, thereby preparing graduates to compete in the labor market.
Dr. Fahmy Salah Abdel‑Halim added that graduation projects mark a pivotal stage in students' academic journey, reflecting the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies, which directly impact project quality and prepare students for both employment and entrepreneurship.
