Benha University President: Preparing Students for Future Jobs Through Training and Industrial Partnerships

Prof. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized that youth are the productive force and the driving engine of development, noting that true investment lies in building human capacity. He stressed the importance of providing training, developing skills, and creating an environment that fosters creativity and innovation, thereby equipping students to compete in the labor market and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
His remarks came during his participation in the Integrated Day for Industrial Technical Training, organized by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) at Creativa Benha, in cooperation with the Chamber of Information Technology Industry (CIT), with the participation of leading companies in the IT sector.
The event was attended by Dr. Ayman Samir, Advisor to the University President for Innovation; Dr. Mohamed Abdel‑Fattah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Salah Mohsen, Director of Egypt Digital Innovation Center; and Engineer Mohamed El‑Amir, Director of ITIDA – Creativa Benha.
Prof. El‑Gizawy highlighted Benha University's strong focus on developing students' technical and practical skills in line with the national strategy for higher education and scientific research. He affirmed that partnerships with industry institutions and technology companies are a cornerstone for advancing the educational process and enhancing students' readiness to enter the labor market.
The event also featured a presentation by ITIDA on its training programs and services for students, along with mechanisms for monitoring trainees. Representatives of participating companies showcased training and employment opportunities, as well as the key skills and expertise sought by employers, contributing to the preparation and qualification of students for future careers
