President of Benha University Inspects Development Projects and New Constructions at the Kafr Saad Faculties Complex

Prof. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University, conducted an inspection tour of the Kafr Saad Faculties Complex to follow up on the progress of several ongoing construction and service projects. He was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra and Engineering Advisor to the University President; Dr. Marwa Ragheb, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Dr. Magdy El‑Shehhat, Dean of the Faculty of Education; along with engineers from the university's engineering administration.
The tour began with an inspection of maintenance and development works on the university's perimeter wall and gates overlooking the Al‑Tawfiqi Canal, ensuring that work is proceeding according to the scheduled plan. Prof. El‑Gizawy also assessed the construction of a new car park, which includes an administrative building, a car wash, and storage facilities, aimed at improving services within the campus.
He further inspected the progress of the new lecture hall building, checked the final finishing works of the Faculty of Education mosque in preparation for its upcoming inauguration, and followed up on landscaping works and the construction of a side staircase for the faculty's administrative building. The staircase was designed to facilitate accessibility for people with disabilities, in line with inclusion standards.
The tour also covered the construction of workshops for the Faculties of Applied Arts and Specific Education, as well as the stages of implementing the new outpatient clinics building at the Kafr Saad complex, part of the university's plan to expand medical and educational services.
Prof. El‑Gizawy stressed that Benha University attaches great importance to completing its construction and development projects, as they are key to supporting the educational and research process, providing a modern campus environment that meets the needs of students and faculty, and enhancing the quality of services offered.
He pointed out that continuous field follow‑up aims to monitor execution rates and overcome any obstacles, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule with full adherence to approved technical specifications and quality standards.
At the conclusion of the tour, the University President directed that all works be completed promptly according to the set timetable, with strict compliance to occupational safety and health requirements across all sites, to guarantee the highest levels of efficiency and quality in the projects delivered.
