Launching of the Summer School for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at Benha University

Under the auspices of prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, the second edition of the Summer School for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for the children of university staff has officially commenced. The program, organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, will run until 9 September.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that the summer school reflects the university's commitment to nurturing the talents of staff members' children, enhancing their skills in robotics, artificial intelligence, and electronics through hands-on, interactive training based on real-world projects in a stimulating educational environment. He added that the initiative contributes to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, fostering innovation and creativity, and shaping a more advanced and inventive future.
Dr. Mohamed Saeed explained that the targeted age group for participation ranges from 12 to 16 years, aligning with the nature of the training programs and the participants' ability to absorb and engage with both scientific and practical content. He noted that the school's activities include an introduction to the world of robotics, fundamentals of electronics, programming and control, a primer on artificial intelligence, as well as practical projects designed to develop teamwork, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
