Under the auspices of Prof.Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Amgad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, students from the Department of English Language at the faculty took part in the Francophonie events hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized the university's commitment to supporting student participation in diverse cultural, scientific, and intellectual activities. He noted that such involvement helps refine students' skills, broaden their capabilities, and provide opportunities to engage with cultural programs that complement their academic studies.
Prof. Amgad Hegazy added that the participation of English Department students reflects the faculty's focus on developing student skills and linking academic study with practical and cultural experiences. These experiences contribute to building well-rounded personalities and enhancing students' communication abilities while fostering openness to different cultures.
The students' participation included active engagement with the events organized at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, benefiting from its rich cultural and intellectual offerings. The Francophonie program at the library features a wide range of activities in literature, cultural diversity, writing, and communication.
