Training Course at Benha University Faculty of Law on “Research Skills and Preparing Legal Studies”

The Faculty of Law at Benha University organized a training course entitled “Research Skills and How to Prepare Legal Studies and Avoid Common Mistakes in Scientific Research.” The initiative reflects the faculty's commitment to supporting scientific research and enhancing the skills of researchers and postgraduate students.
The course was held under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Professor Dr. Mohamed Mansour Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Law. It was delivered by Professor Dr. El-Sayed Abdelhamid Foda, Professor of Philosophy and History of Law and former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdelghany, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained that the course was organized by the Center for Legal Research and Studies at the faculty, in coordination with Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service. He emphasized that the program is part of the faculty's efforts to provide a supportive academic environment for researchers and to strengthen the culture of scientific inquiry.
During the course, Dr. Foda outlined key foundations of scientific research, methods for preparing legal studies according to sound academic standards, and highlighted common mistakes researchers may encounter along with strategies to avoid them.
He stressed the importance of developing research and analytical skills among scholars, which contributes to raising the quality of legal studies and improving the overall standard of research outputs.
The course was attended by a large number of faculty members, assistant lecturers, teaching assistants, researchers, and postgraduate students.
