Benha University Concludes “Benha Founders” Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum in Celebration of International Youth Day

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university concluded the activities of the “Benha Founders” Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum, organized by the University Career Development Center in collaboration with Banque du Caire. The event was held in celebration of International Youth Day and as part of the university's ongoing efforts to empower young people, promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, and prepare them for labor market requirements. The forum brought together experts, specialists, representatives of entrepreneurship support institutions, and a large number of students and youth interested in business creation.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that supporting and empowering youth is a top priority for the university, rooted in the belief that true investment lies in investing in people. He noted that fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation helps build a generation capable of transforming ideas into real projects and opportunities, contributing effectively to sustainable development and Egypt's national vision.
He added that the “Benha Founders” Forum reflects the university's commitment to providing an integrated educational and training environment, enabling students and youth to explore opportunities in entrepreneurship and finance, acquire project management and decision-making skills, and strengthen their competitiveness in the labor market.
Dr. Sahar Abdelrahman, Director of the University Career Development Center, explained that the forum represents a practical model of cooperation between the university, banking institutions, and youth-supporting organizations. Its aim is to provide knowledge, expertise, and tools that help young people move from the idea stage to planning and implementation.
The forum introduced participants to the full spectrum of entrepreneurship: from project ideation, feasibility studies, business models, and planning, through legal procedures, registration, and licensing, to financial analysis, financial inclusion, and funding opportunities. It also highlighted non-financial services and the “Rowad El-Nile” program.
Activities included interactive sessions and workshops, such as the Micro Business Game, which simulated project management and gave participants hands-on experience in decision-making, liquidity management, market risk handling, opportunity discovery, and profitability improvement.
The forum also showcased training and qualification opportunities that may lead to employment for outstanding participants, alongside Banque du Caire's financial inclusion services, account opening, and access to banking facilities.
This initiative reflects the role of Benha University's Career Development Center in supporting students, graduates, and youth, connecting them with labor market needs, and providing training, qualification, and networking opportunities with relevant institutions. It contributes to building sustainable career paths and strengthening the culture of initiative and innovation among the university's youth.
