Benha University President Congratulates Engineering Student for Winning Third Place in International Cybersecurity Competition

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, congratulated Abdullah Islam Rashad Abdel-Azim, a fourth-year student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Benha Faculty of Engineering, on his team's achievement of securing third place in the CSC-4 International Cybersecurity Competition, hosted by the Military Technical College in its fourth edition.
El-Gizawy emphasized that this accomplishment reflects the outstanding level reached by the university's students and their ability to participate effectively and compete in advanced technological fields, particularly cybersecurity, which he described as one of the most vital domains of the future.
Dr. Zeinab, Dean of Benha Faculty of Engineering, also extended her congratulations to Abdullah Islam and all members of the V1b3 H4ck3r5 team, expressing her pride in this achievement, which adds to the record of the faculty's student successes. She stressed that the faculty is committed to providing a supportive educational and training environment, encouraging innovation, and motivating students to participate in specialized scientific competitions.
The final stage of the competition featured Attack–Defense challenges, with 17 teams competing in advanced cybersecurity disciplines, including web application exploitation, reverse engineering, mobile security, cryptography, digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), and binary exploitation.
This achievement highlights the collaborative spirit of the V1b3 H4ck3r5 team, which included students from different Egyptian universities, reflecting the excellence and cooperation among Egyptian youth in modern technological fields and their ability to compete internationally in specialized arenas.
