Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed Mr. Murad Azar, General Manager of Banque Misr – East Delta Branches, to explore avenues of joint cooperation and strengthen collaboration between the university and the bank. The meeting aimed to enhance services provided to university members and support community development.
The meeting was attended by prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. El-Sayed Khater, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor; and Mr. Helmy Shibl, Deputy General Manager of Banque Misr – East Delta Branches.
During the discussions, Dr. El-Gizawy reviewed several topics of mutual interest and explored ways to expand cooperation in the coming period, ensuring reciprocal benefits and supporting Benha University's efforts to serve its members and the surrounding community.
He emphasized the strong ties and cooperation between Benha University and Banque Misr across various fields, highlighting the diverse financial services the bank provides to students, faculty, and staff.
El-Gizawy added that Benha University welcomes all initiatives and partnerships with civil society institutions, as they contribute to strengthening the university's role in fulfilling its educational, research, and community mission. He also noted the importance of such cooperation in developing the university hospital system and improving services offered to citizens.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed the importance of maintaining coordination and joint collaboration, working to further strengthen the partnership in ways that benefit Benha University members and support development and community service efforts.
