Benha University President: Investing in Human Capital is the Cornerstone of Academic Excellence and Institutional Development

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, affirmed that the university administration places great emphasis on developing and building the capacities of its faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students. He stressed that investing in human capital is a fundamental pillar for achieving academic excellence and institutional advancement.
This came as prof. El-Gizawy presented certificates of completion to participants in the Occupational Safety and Health Committee Members Program, implemented in cooperation with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Workplace Security. The ceremony was attended by prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Affairs.
Prof. El-Gizawy praised the commitment of university members to discipline and responsibility, as well as their dedication to safeguarding the university's assets, facilities, and resources. He emphasized that providing a safe and organized work and learning environment is one of the essential foundations for supporting the educational process and achieving the university's objectives.
He also commended the efforts of teams working in maintenance, protection, and safety, recognizing their sincere contributions to preserving university property and ensuring sustainability. He highlighted the importance of spreading a culture of occupational safety and health among all members of the university community.
El-Gizawy added that preserving the university's assets and resources is both a national duty and a core responsibility to ensure the sustainability of institutional resources and maximize the optimal use of facilities. This, he noted, contributes to supporting the path of sustainable development and aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030.
He concluded by affirming that Benha University will continue implementing training and qualification programs to enhance the professional capacities of its members, elevate institutional performance, and strengthen the university's pursuit of excellence and quality across all fields.
