Benha University President Attends Graduation Ceremony of Faculty of Arts Students

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the graduation ceremony of a new cohort of students from the Faculty of Arts.
The event was held in the presence of prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; prof. Amgad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts; Dr. Mohamed Mesbah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Sherine El-Shoura, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Affairs; and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, Deputy General Supervisor of the Leadership Development Center.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that graduation is not merely the attainment of a university degree, but a celebration of preparing a new generation of conscious, cultured youth capable of shouldering responsibility and actively participating in building society and shaping the future.
He noted that the university and the Faculty of Arts have been keen to equip students with knowledge, skills, and values that enable them to enter professional life with confidence and competence, keeping pace with global changes and challenges.
Expressing his joy at the graduation of a new class of Arts students, El-Gizawy praised their perseverance and dedication throughout their years of study, culminating in this moment that crowns a journey of ambition, effort, and success.
He stressed the importance of graduates holding fast to authentic ethical and social values and preserving their national identity, affirming that the homeland needs loyal sons who believe in its mission, recognize their responsibility toward it, and contribute to its stability, progress, and unity.
Addressing the graduates, El-Gizawy said: “Be proud ambassadors of your university and your country. Uphold the spirit of belonging, loyalty, and hard work. Contribute with your knowledge and ideas to strengthening values of coexistence, tolerance, productivity, and nation-building. You are the hope of the present and the leaders of the future.”
He added that the knowledge acquired by graduates must serve as a tool for excellence, creativity, and service to the nation, urging them to continue learning and self-development, stressing that “renewed knowledge is the foundation of success and leadership in all fields.”
Prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi congratulated the graduates on their academic success, noting that graduation marks the beginning of their entry into the labor market, which requires continuous skill development, experience acquisition, and flexibility to adapt to new challenges. She also congratulated parents for supporting their children throughout their studies.
Speaking to the graduates, she said: “Today you are not just graduates—you are knights of knowledge who will carry the torch of learning everywhere. You have always been a model of determination and responsibility, and now you are ready to write new chapters in your own stories—chapters filled with change and creativity.”
Dr. Abdel Hadi also commended the Faculty of Arts for its constant pursuit of leadership in the humanities and languages, locally and regionally, through distinguished teaching, research, and active community partnership, in line with quality standards and digital transformation.
Meanwhile, prof. Amgad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, affirmed that students are the core and outcome of the educational process. Preparing them to face life and its challenges is a primary goal of the faculty, which seeks to graduate distinguished students equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
He highlighted the faculty's commitment to producing qualified and well-trained cadres capable of achieving leadership in their academic specializations, building self-confidence, refining skills, and contributing to community development in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
