Benha University Opens New Horizons for Its Students Towards Industry and the Labor Market

Under the suspicion of prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the University Career Development Center organized a field visit for a group of students to several factories and industrial facilities in the city of 10th of Ramadan. The visit was held in cooperation with the Investors Association of 10th of Ramadan and the Technology and Entrepreneurship City Company, as part of the “Training for Employment” initiative.
Prof. El-Gizawy affirmed that the university is working to expand bridges of cooperation with the industrial sector, enabling students to experience real work environments, understand job requirements, and participate effectively in the development process. He stressed Benha University's commitment to linking academic education with labor market needs, noting that such visits are an important step in preparing graduates who combine academic knowledge with practical experience and are capable of competing in the job market.
Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman, Director of the University Career Development Center, explained that the field visits provide students with valuable opportunities to explore their professional interests and gain direct insight into the nature of jobs and their requirements. She emphasized the center's dedication to offering practical experiences that help students transition into the labor market with awareness and confidence.
The visit included tours inside several industrial facilities, where students learned about production stages, modern technologies in use, various fields of work, and the skills required by the industrial labor market.
