Final Results of the International Publication and Citation Competition – July 2026 Cycle

Prof. Gehan Abdelhadi, Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announced—under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University—that the technical committee has completed its review of appeals submitted for the International Publication Competition (covering internationally indexed journals, books, and chapters) and the Citation Competition for the July 2026 cycle. This follows the conclusion of the designated appeals period.
As part of the general rules governing the university's research support programs, faculty members are placed on the exclusion list and barred from receiving incentives if:
Their Google Scholar accounts contain publications not authored by them.
They submit incorrect data or reuse papers that have already received financial rewards in previous cycles.
They provide incomplete or empty declarations, or fail to list all co-authors from within the university, including registered postgraduate students (master's or doctoral) who are not faculty members or assistants.
Important Note: Beginning with the January 2027 cycle, all submissions must cite at least two references from research published in Benha University journals (from any issue). This requirement applies to papers published after July 2026 and is a prerequisite for eligibility for international publication rewards.
