Benha University Asseses Final Preparations for Medical Examinations of New Students and Activates Digital Services for Freshmen

Prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, convened a meeting with supervisory committees overseeing medical examinations for new students, scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The meeting aimed to ensure the readiness of university clinics and hospitals to provide comprehensive healthcare services and streamline examination procedures.
The session was attended by Dr. Sherif El-Mahdy, Director General of the University's Medical Administration; Ms. Iman Kamel, Director General of Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Alaa Magdy, General Coordinator of the medical examinations; as well as directors of the University's E‑Portal and Administrative Information Systems Units, members of both units, and representatives of Administrative Security. The discussions focused on integrating medical examination procedures with the digital system, updating and verifying freshmen's data, and providing technical support throughout registration, booking, and examination stages.
Prof. Abdel Hadi emphasized that the meeting was held in line with the directives of prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, to guarantee maximum comfort and convenience for new students and to deliver services that reflect the University's standing. She noted that the medical examination process represents the first impression for students and their families of the new academic environment.
She stressed the importance of adhering to the digital system by following the dates and times students had pre-booked online, ensuring smooth examination flow and preventing overcrowding in clinics. Continuous coordination with the University's E‑Portal was also highlighted to promptly address any technical issues students may encounter during data verification and form submission.
Prof. Abdel Hadi further directed that suitable waiting areas be provided, students be welcomed with care and support, and clear pathways be designated for students with disabilities and special cases to guarantee easy access to medical services. She also called for heightened readiness within university clinics, thorough medical checks to detect cases requiring follow-up or ongoing care, and close coordination with university hospitals.
