Benha University Students Participated in the International Summer School at Xi'an Jiaotong University in China

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the participation of a group of university students in the International Summer School organized by Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, under the theme "Silk Road Youth: Sustainable Development Goals in Action." This participation comes within the framework of the university's strategy to enhance international openness, support students, and provide opportunities for learning, training, and engagement with global educational experiences.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that the participation of Benha University students in this international event reflects the university's commitment to developing their capabilities, refining their academic and practical skills, and providing them with the opportunity to learn about the latest international educational systems and experiences. This contributes to preparing qualified cadres capable of competing in the local and international labor markets.
Prof. Gehan Abdelhady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, explained that the summer school program includes a variety of academic and training programs, as well as cultural activities. This provides participating students with the opportunity to interact directly with students from different countries, exchange experiences and knowledge, and learn about diverse cultures.
Prof. Mohamed Farahat Fouda, a professor at the College of Life Sciences at Central China Normal University and the event coordinator, stated that Benha University participated as an organizing partner in this international event, representing Egypt alongside four other universities from different continents—Asia, Africa, and Europe—bringing the total to five universities, which reflects the continental and international diversity of the event.
