Benha University Organized Training Workshop on "Ibn Al-Haytham" Application in Preparation for the New Academic Year

Under the auspices of : • Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, • Prof. Gehan Abdelhady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
Inaugurated a training workshop on the mechanisms of using the "Ibn Al-Haytham" program for managing educational affairs and student services. The workshop was attended by student affairs officials from various faculties, aiming to enhance the efficiency of system usage and assist staff in resolving any issues that students may encounter while using the program.
The event was attended by :
• Prof. Abdel Karim Ibrahim, Director of Administrative Information Systems;
• Engineer Islam Khalil, Deputy Director of the Unit for Operations and Technical Support;
• Engineer Doaa Sayed, Deputy Director of the Unit for Development and Electronic Payment.
Prof. Gehan Abdelhady stated that organizing the workshop is part of the university's preparations for the new academic year and reflects Benha University's commitment to providing full support to faculties in using the "Ibn Al-Haytham" system for educational affairs and student services. She emphasized the importance of staff adhering to the system's application accurately and effectively, contributing to the development of the administrative work system and the transition towards a smart university.
The Vice President added that the workshop addressed the main challenges and obstacles faced by staff while dealing with the system and discussed ways to overcome them. It also focused on monitoring performance and ensuring that all student data is recorded and updated in the system.
She explained that the "Ibn Al-Haytham" system is one of the important electronic systems for managing educational affairs and student services at the university. It allows for the registration and monitoring of students' academic data and the issuance of various documents related to students throughout their study period until graduation, thereby facilitating procedures and improving the quality of services provided to students.
