President of Benha University Honored Participants in the Summer School for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for University Employees' Children

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, honored the participants in the activities of the second edition of the Summer School for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for the children of university employees. This initiative is part of the university's commitment to supporting and developing children's skills and encouraging them to learn and innovate in modern technological fields.
The event was attended by :
• Prof. Gehan Abdelhady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research;
• Prof. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra;
• several faculty members
• trainers involved in implementing the summer school activities.
Prof. El-Gizawy expressed his happiness in honoring the participating children, thanking those responsible for organizing the summer school at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra for their efforts in training the children and effectively utilizing the summer vacation.
He emphasized that the summer school represents an inspiring educational experience that contributes to developing children's skills and building their scientific and creative capabilities from an early age. He noted that robotics and artificial intelligence have become essential innovative educational tools that help children develop critical and creative thinking, encouraging them to think outside the box and find innovative solutions to problems.
The university president added that organizing the summer school aligns with Benha University's commitment to enhancing the skills of employees' children and strengthening their capabilities in robotics, artificial intelligence, and electronics through practical and interactive training and the execution of real projects within a stimulating educational environment.
He explained that the school contributes to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, fostering innovation, creativity, and teamwork skills, which helps build children' capacities and equip them for future requirements, creating a more advanced and innovative future.
The summer school activities included:
• an introduction to the world of robotics,
• training on the basics of electronics,
• programming, and control,
• an introduction to artificial intelligence
• implementation of several practical projects,
• developing teamwork skills,
• creative thinking,
• problem-solving abilities among the participating children.
