The activities of the second Benha University Robotics Championship launched today, under the auspices of :
• Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansoua, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,
• Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University.
The event features 30 student teams representing more than 10 Egyptian universities, as part of the university's commitment to supporting innovation and developing students' skills in the fields of robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that the championship serves as a scientific and competitive platform that brings together innovative students from various Egyptian universities. It allows them to showcase their technological projects and ideas, and to exchange experiences and expertise in modern technical fields. He noted the university's keenness to foster a culture of innovation and creativity, discover young talent, and develop their capabilities to keep pace with technological advancements and the requirements of the modern industrial revolution.
The championship is held over two days and features competitions among student teams in the fields of robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence. This contributes to bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application, enhancing teamwork and scientific competition, and preparing students for the requirements of the digital labor market.
The championship also includes the presentation of students' projects and practical applications, in addition to awarding cash prizes to the top three winners. Furthermore, special prizes are awarded for the best design, programming, and innovative idea, aiming to encourage students to develop innovative technological solutions and applications that serve society and meet future needs.
