Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that two teams from the university have qualified for the final stage of the Digital Innovation Challenge 2026, organized by the Innovators and Talents Care Fund. They are among the 30 teams advanced to the final stage out of 244 teams that applied for the competition, with the participation of 610 students from various Egyptian universities and institutes.
El-Gizawy explained that the two qualifying teams represent the Faculty of Engineering at Benha and the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. The team “Integrated Center for Recycling and Community Development” from the Faculty of Engineering at Benha qualified to compete in the field of environment and sustainability, while the team “MuseWay” from the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence qualified in the field of modern technology.
The President of Benha University affirmed that this qualification reflects the creative abilities and innovative skills possessed by Benha University students, as well as the university's commitment to supporting talented individuals and innovators and encouraging them to transform their ideas into projects and solutions that help address societal and developmental challenges. Both teams had previously won awards in the Third Graduation Projects Marathon at Benha University for 2026, which demonstrates the quality of the ideas and projects presented by the university's students and their ability to compete in various innovative events and competitions.
