Benha Engineering Students Take Part in Sustainability Week 2026

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Gehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President of the University, and in line with Benha University's commitment to raising awareness of sustainability issues, empowering youth to address environmental challenges, and providing opportunities for learning and practical application in sustainable development, a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering – Benha University, along with representatives of the Student Union, participated in the opening day of Sustainability Week 2026 at Heliopolis University, held under the theme:
“Environmental Sustainability.”
The day witnessed active engagement from the faculty's students in a variety of events and applied workshops, enriching their knowledge and skills while bridging academic learning with modern practical applications in sustainability and environmental fields.
This participation reflects the Faculty of Engineering's dedication to supporting student activities, encouraging involvement in scientific and community events, and embracing contemporary practices that prepare engineers to be more aware of future challenges and more capable of delivering innovative, sustainable solutions.
