Benha University won Gold Medal and First Place in Table Tennis at the African University Games

Benha University has won the gold medal and first place in table tennis competitions at the 12th African University Games "Cairo 2026," held at a club in the New Administrative Capital.
Benha University's participation in the championship was under the auspices of:
• Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University,
• Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• alongside participation from several Egyptian and African universities.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy congratulated student Safaa Hafiz from the Faculty of Arts for winning the gold medal and first place in the table tennis competitions, wishing her continued excellence and success in various sports arenas.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University is keen to support and encourage its students to engage in sports activities and positively participate in various championships, which contributes to building a well-rounded student personality and developing their skills and capabilities, in addition to enhancing communication and positive interaction with students from Egyptian and African universities.
