Ministry of Higher Education Approved New decrees for Academic Programs and Regulations at Benha University

Prof. El-Gizawy: The new decrees support the development of academic programs and meet labor market needs.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the issuance of several decrees by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding a number of colleges and academic programs at the university. This is part of the university's ongoing efforts to develop the education system and introduce new academic programs that align with labor market requirements. Prof. El-Gizawy explained that the decrees included the approval to add and commence studies for master's and doctoral degrees in nursing, with specializations in Critical Care Nursing and Geriatric Nursing, and the inclusion of their academic regulations in the internal regulations for the postgraduate credit-hour system at the Faculty of Nursing. The decrees also included the approval to add and commence studies for a professional diploma program in Rubber and Plastic Technology, as a special fee-based program, and the inclusion of its academic regulations in the internal regulations for the postgraduate credit-hour system at the Faculty of Science. The decrees approved the updated internal regulations for the postgraduate credit-hour system at the Faculty of Arts. The decrees also included the approval of the updated internal regulations for the undergraduate credit-hour system at the Faculty of Physical Therapy and the activation of its implementation. At the Faculty of Specific Education, the approval was granted to add and commence studies for a program in Institutional Digital Media, as a special fee-based program under the credit-hour system, and the inclusion of its academic regulations in the internal regulations for the undergraduate credit-hour system at the college. Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy affirmed that these decrees come within the framework of Benha University's commitment to developing its academic programs, updating its academic regulations in line with the requirements for development in the higher education system, labor market needs, and enhancing the quality of the educational and research process.
