Benha Engineering Signed Cooperation Protocol with the Educational Buildings Authority for Soil Mechanics Research and Tests

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the Faculty of Engineering at Benha signed a cooperation protocol with the General Authority for Educational Buildings regarding the execution of soil tests and mechanics research and the preparation of technical reports.
The signing of the contract was attended by:
• Prof. Zainab Faisal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Benha,
• Prof. Ayman Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Samir Hamad, Director of the Workshops and Laboratories and Engineering Consultations Unit,
• Prof. Mohamed Samir,
• Representatives from the General Authority for Educational Buildings.
Prof. Zainab Faisal stated that the cooperation aims to leverage the scientific, technical, and specialized expertise available at the Faculty of Engineering at Benha to carry out soil tests, studies, and research, as well as to prepare the necessary technical reports and engineering recommendations for the authority's projects, in accordance with approved specifications and technical standards.
She noted that the signing of the protocol comes as part of the Faculty of Engineering's commitment to enhancing its consultative and practical role, expanding the areas of benefit from its academic and technical expertise in serving state institutions, which contributes to providing specialized engineering solutions and supporting project implementation based on precise scientific and technical foundations.
The collaboration also reflects the efforts of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the consulting unit at the faculty in building effective partnerships with various entities and institutions, providing specialized engineering services and consultations, thereby enhancing the role of the Faculty of Engineering at Benha as a scientific and technical partner in supporting developmental projects.
