While the university reaffirms its full respect and appreciation for all its distinguished graduates, it clarifies that the appointment procedures for teaching assistants are conducted according to the established rules and regulations, based on the actual needs of the faculties and academic departments outlined in the approved five-year plan for appointing faculty members. This plan is prepared and approved in advance according to the governing regulations.
The mentioned specialization was not included in the five-year plan approved five years ago as part of the designated needs for appointing teaching assistants during the current period. Therefore, the lack of appointment in this specialization is not related in any way to the academic excellence or achievements of the graduate, who the university takes pride in, just like all its other distinguished graduates.
