President of Benha University Chaired the Facilities Committee Meeting to Monitor Construction Projects and Improve Infrastructure

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, chaired a meeting of the University Facilities Committee to review the progress of construction work and completion rates of ongoing projects, as well as to assess updates on development and maintenance activities across various university facilities.
The meeting was attended by:
• Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Prof. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Mohamed Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra and the university's engineering advisor,
• Prof. Abdul Qadir Abdul Karim, General Coordinator for Administrative Quality,
• Mrs. Sherine Shawky, Secretary General of the University,
• Mr. Mohamed Diab, Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs,
• General Directors of the Engineering Department and Council Secretariat.
The university president emphasized the importance of enhancing maintenance services across all facilities and improving the efficiency of buildings, infrastructure, and university residences. This is part of the university's ongoing development plan to update its facilities, ensuring the readiness of services and the continued provision of academic and administrative support effectively.
Prof. El-Gizawy reviewed the completion rates of several ongoing construction projects, which include the lecture hall building, the Faculty of Applied Arts building, and the clinics and workshops building, as well as the development of the university gates to align with its visual identity.
He stressed the necessity of adhering to technical specifications and conditions outlined in the agreements between the university and the executing companies, while also ensuring that construction work is carried out according to the established standards. This will guarantee the achievement of the university's goals in developing infrastructure and enhancing the quality of services provided.
