Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed a delegation from the National Investment Bank headed by Ms. Hanan Fawzi El-Sayed, Director General of Basic Industries Projects in the Authorities and Economic Units Sector.
The visit formed part of field follow-up on several projects included in the university's plan for the 2026/2027 fiscal year.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary-General of the University; Mr. Mohamed Diab, Assistant Secretary for Financial Affairs; officials from the university's Engineering and Planning Administration; and members of the National Investment Bank's follow-up committee, Ms. Ghada Saber Ahmed and Mr. Mustafa Murad Khamis.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stressed the importance of ongoing cooperation with the National Investment Bank in supporting and monitoring the implementation of the university's investment projects. He noted that these projects aim to develop the university's infrastructure, strengthen educational and service activities, and create a modern university environment that meets the needs of students and faculty members.
During the meeting, the university's project plan was reviewed, the executive status of ongoing projects was discussed, and progress rates were assessed to ensure their timely completion according to the approved schedules.
Members of the National Investment Bank delegation expressed their satisfaction with the partnership with Benha University. They praised the implementation rates of the projects currently under way and affirmed that the new constructions contribute to achieving the university's objectives and future plans.
After the meeting, the delegation conducted a field tour of several faculties, facilities, and new projects at the university. These included the new university hospital building, the completion of the fifth phase of installing surveillance cameras on campus, the construction of outpatient clinics, and the lecture halls building in the Kafr Saad area. The delegation reviewed progress rates and monitored work on site.
