Benha University Ranks Third Among Egyptian Universities in the Quality of Laboratory and Scientific Equipment Data

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university has secured third place among Egyptian universities in the data quality ranking on the National Bank of Laboratories and Scientific Equipment website, achieving a data quality index of 96.78%.
This ranking reflects the university's ongoing efforts to develop its research infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of its scientific research system.
El-Gizawy explained that this progress highlights the university's commitment to updating and ensuring the accuracy of data related to its laboratories and scientific equipment. Such efforts contribute to better management of research capabilities, facilitate researchers' and faculty members' access to essential information, and maximise the utilisation of available resources and facilities.
According to the statistics published on the National Bank of Laboratories and Scientific Equipment website, Benha University currently houses 70 laboratories and 1,027 scientific instruments. These resources form a vital foundation for supporting research and applied activities and for providing a stimulating scientific environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
The President added that this achievement forms part of the university's strategy to develop laboratory operations, strengthen information governance, and elevate data quality. These steps align with the state's broader vision to support scientific research and innovation and to achieve institutional excellence across higher education institutions.
