21 October… Launch of Benha University Swimming Championship at the Moshtohor Pool

Benha University is organizing the University Swimming Championship on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, at the swimming pool in Moshtohor, as part of the university’s commitment to supporting sports activities and expanding student participation in various student events.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, affirmed that sports activities represent one of the important pillars in building the university student’s personality, given their role in developing physical and skill abilities, fostering a spirit of fair competition and teamwork, as well as discovering and nurturing sporting talents.
The championship is expected to see the participation of students from various faculties of the university, competing in a number of swimming races. This will provide students with the opportunity to showcase their sporting abilities and contribute to preparing distinguished athletes capable of representing Benha University in different championships and sporting events.
The university has invited students wishing to participate to approach the Youth Welfare Departments in their faculties to register for the championship, confirming its continued support for student activities that help develop young people’s skills and invest their energies.
