Prof. Dr. Sohair Nejm, the Head of the Laser Lab at the Faculty of Engineering, Benha University has announced for holding a seminar about laser technology and nanotechnology that will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa El Sayed, the Manager of Laser Center at Georgia Institute, USA and the holder of the highest decoration in American Science “National Medal of Science”. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University will attend the seminar at the Faculty headquarter in Shubra on Wednesday, 24/12/2014, 09:00am.

In the frame of Benha University caring to increase the scientific researches opportunities for faculty members outside Egypt and to provide scientific exchange between the Egyptian and the French universities; a seminar has been organized with cooperation of the French Institute in Egypt in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches - Prof. Dr. Amany Samir, the head of the Department of French at the Faculty of Arts –Prof. Dr. Adel Takla, the former vice-dean of the Faculty of Arts – and Mrs. Nadin Meckawy, the official of the Scientific Department at the French Institute.

Dr. Sharif Hamaad, the Minster of Scientific Research and his Jordanian counterpart Dr. Amin Mahmoud have discussed the ways of the scientific and academic cooperation between Egypt and Jordon during the visiting of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities “SCU” delegation to Amman, Jordon. On Tuesday, 16/12/2014, Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail Khalil, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development has opened the Seminar on “The EU Programme, ERASMUS+” at the Conferences Hall of the Faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and in the presence of Dr. Yasser El Shayeb, the Coordinator of the EU Programme - ERASMUS+.

Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs has announced for opening a new division of biotechnology in the faculty of science to support the labor market requirements.
He pointed out that new programs have been opened at the faculty of engineering in Shubra. Such programs are Energy Engineering and Sustainable Energy to face the lack of energy.

Under the Auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din - the President of Benha University, the Sector of Community Service and Environment Development has continued its role in organizing medical, agricultural, veterinary and cultural convoys for Benha villages. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of the University for Community Service and Environment Development said the Sector will organize convoys on 16/12 and 17/12/2014 in Mit Radi and Manshat Benha.
