Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University took a tour of inspection at the Faculty of Arts with Prof. Dr. Abdel Latif El Sabagh, the Dean of the Faculty and a group of Faculty members.
It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din met students to know their problems and the difficulties facing them.

Dr. Ramy Iskandar, the Supervisor of the National E-learning Center “NELC”, the Supreme Council of Universities has sent the arbitration forms and new systems contracts of NELC to Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghanem, the Manager of E-leaning Center, Benha University. Such forms contain an arbitration form of scientific content for a course that will be converted to electronic form and a contract of producing, publishing and distributing e-course.

Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University received Prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, the Minister of Health and Population during his visiting to Benha University Hospitals, the University Hostels, and the Religious Institute to check the University preparations for the second academic term. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs also received the Minister.

On February 18th, 2014, à Paris, Cosimo Lacirignola, Secretary General of CIHEAM, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities represented by Prof. Ali Shams El Din accompanied by Dr. Amal El- Sabban, Cultural Attaché of the Egyptian Embassy to France. This MoU puts emphasis on diploma recognition, quality research and introduces interchanges at the level of PhD cycles.

TERENA's annual networking conference (TNC) aims to bring together people interested in fostering research and development, as well as implementing and deploying innovative solutions to meet networking challenges for research and education. TERENA's conference also includes a contest of poster and lightning talk where 10 posters will be selected for presentation at TNC 2014; the best of these will then be chosen for presentation as lightning talk.
