Benha University hosted the first session of Egypt's Students Union which was attended by representatives of 22 Egypt's public universities.
Mohamed Badran, the head of Egypt's Students Union confirmed that student unions in Egypt's public universities are the legal organizations which express about opinions and ambitions of students in addition to practicing all student activities.
He also said that the Union discussed amendments of new student regulations, development of youth care system, improvement of university hostels, degradation of the security situation in the universities, and problems of private universities.

Dr. Maged El Sherbiny, the head of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces for initiative for supporting graduation projects at the faculties of science and engineering. Each project will get 20.000 pounds for one year to turn the winning projects to small enterprises. It is worth mentioning that new ideas will get patents. The winning faculty will be supported with projects in specific field by 2 million pounds to upgrade its research capabilities in the same field.

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) – IBTIECAR provides a six days unique training program in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship that is directed to students of third year from divisions of information technology and communications in the Egyptian universities.
